Terms of Service

Last updated 9 June 2026

About these terms

These terms govern your use of Imogen Grace, the AI receptionist service operated by Greyline Technologies Ltd. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so. Please read these terms alongside our Privacy Policy.

The service

Imogen Grace answers calls on a dedicated phone number on your behalf, captures caller details, books appointments and prepares owner-approved follow-up. The service is provided on a subscription basis under the tier you select. We work hard to keep Imogen reliable, but the service is provided on a commercially reasonable best-efforts basis and is not a substitute for emergency services.

Your account and configuration

You are responsible for the information you give Imogen, including your greeting, services, pricing approach and call-handling rules, and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must make sure the details you ask Imogen to use are accurate and lawful. Follow-up messages to your callers are sent only after you approve them.

Call recording and your responsibilities

Imogen plays a notice at the start of each call to let callers know the call is handled by an AI assistant and may be recorded. You are responsible for using the recordings and caller data you collect in line with UK GDPR and applicable law, for any required notices to your own callers beyond the standard pre-call notice, and for responding to data requests from your callers, with our help where needed.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Imogen Grace to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
  • make unsolicited marketing calls or messages that breach UK regulations;
  • impersonate another person or business in a misleading way;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service.

Fees and billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance for the tier you choose through our payments provider. Fees are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable for a period already served. You can cancel at any time, and your subscription will end at the close of the current billing period.

Availability and changes

We may update the service and these terms from time to time. Where a change materially affects you, we will give reasonable notice. We may carry out maintenance that briefly affects availability, and we will keep any disruption as short as we reasonably can.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or business, or for calls or messages missed due to factors outside our reasonable control, such as your phone network or call forwarding configuration. Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end the service if you breach these terms or fail to pay. On termination you can ask us to export or delete your data, subject to any legal retention we are required to keep.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
